I am a Partner and Head of Legal Aid Family Law Matters, assisted by three paralegal assistants and was formerly Director of IT at Bowling & Co, having been with the firm since 1996. My department works closely with Victim Support and women’s organisations and specialises in emergency interventions and applications linked with domestic violence and for marriage. We have a Legal Aid Agency contract to carry out publically funded family work. I also have expertise in Sharia Law issues.
Over my years at Bowling & Co I have built up a large client base and have particular expertise in seeking injunctions and urgent applications to assist in the protection and welfare of spouses where the marital arrangements have broken down.
I retain a keen interest in information technology as a tool to increase efficiency. I also have strong links with the Bengali community in Tower Hamlets.
