At Bowling & Co Solicitors, our trainees are an integral part of our team right from the beginning. Our various departments, including corporate, commercial, family, and property, offer trainees the opportunity to work closely within their teams. Our training philosophy is built on principles of transparency, integrity, commercial acumen, and support. We believe that Bowling & Co offers an exceptional platform for trainee solicitors to gain invaluable client exposure and engage in high-quality work within a collaborative and friendly environment.
What Does Our Training Programme Cover?
We provide our trainees with a comprehensive training programme that covers all the essential areas of legal practice. From the outset, Bowling & Co fosters a learning-rich environment that exposes trainees to transactions and problem-solving scenarios necessary for developing a strong legal profile. Throughout the programme, you will receive continuous supervision and have regular interactions with clients. For a firsthand account of the trainee experience, we invite you to read our ’Day in the life of a trainee solicitor’ blog by one of our former trainees, Sebastian Jakubowski.
What Qualities Are We Seeking in Our Trainees?
We are on the lookout for individuals who are not only bright and motivated but also possess a keen eye for detail. Our ideal candidates are committed to continuous learning and are eager to collaborate in problem-solving. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of our clients’ needs and exhibit the determination to achieve optimal legal outcomes for them. Beyond client interactions and business meetings, we encourage trainees to actively participate in marketing initiatives, such as creating blogs and contributing innovative ideas to promote the firm. At Bowling & Co, asking questions is highly encouraged, as there’s no room for mistakes in a law firm.
What Can Our Trainees Expect From The Programme?
Our training contracts offer exposure to various niche areas, including conflict resolution, family law, employment law, business and commercial law, real estate law, and private client law. You will have the opportunity to focus on one area, such as property law, and then transition to another, like banking law, as part of your training journey.
