Justin joined Bowling & Co in September 2009. He specialises in property
litigation and has broad experience in this field and in advising on contentious
issues in land transactions. He has expertise in commercial landlord-and-tenant
matters, including lease renewals, dilapidations, service charges, rent
reviews, forfeiture and the enforcement of covenants, acting for both
tenants and landlords. He has also acted on a wide range of other property
matters: residential long-leasehold and housing law; disputes over rights
of way and other easements, restrictive covenants, adverse possession,
boundaries and commons; nuisance; property-related professional negligence
claims; insolvency issues in connection with leases; and the enforcement
of charges.
Year qualified:
2001 as a Barrister; admitted as a Solicitor in 2004.
Career:
Joined Beachcroft LLP in 2001 after qualifying as a barrister, having
completed pupillage in commercial Chancery chambers; 2005 Memery Crystal
LLP; 2007-2009 Thomson Snell & Passmore, Senior Associate; joined
Bowling & Co September 2009 as a Senior Associate.
