This area is also commonly known as professional negligence. Our experience in this area involves dealing with claims against professionals such as solicitors, barristers, accountants, surveyors, doctors and other professionals. This includes both the bringing of claims and the defence of claims made against such professionals.

We are also experienced in mediation or arbitration as an alternative to court litigation. This can sometimes provide a more suitable and effective remedy. We are also able to appraise possible claims to decide whether or not the matter should be pursued further.

The incidence of claims is on the increase and we are able to advise you as to the merits of any such claims where damages are recoverable if the professional has compulsory professional indemnity insurance. We shall be pleased to assist.
