We have a specialist employment department to advise on all aspects of employment law and practice; we see our role as providing proactive advice to management and human resource departments and to deal with client problems as they arise. This approach is more cost effective to our clients as it helps prevent successful Tribunal Applications being brought by the employee. As a result we have become increasingly involved in providing our clients with day to day advice on a variety of personnel issues.

Our employment team has experience of working in industry and is aware of the sensitive business and personnel considerations that clients have when making a decision. We therefore offer commercially minded cost effective solutions tailored to client needs.

Our employment team offers a practical approach and will, where necessary, use their extensive negotiating experience to obtain a satisfactory result to avoid litigation. However in the event of litigation our team have extensive experience in Tribunal representation and have established a successful track record in defending claims brought by employees.

We are aware that employment litigation can be a strain on businesses as it can be costly and time consuming. To ensure that our clients are able to make informed commercial decisions we are able to give an estimate of costs before starting a case and regularly keep clients aware of the fees incurred.
